Maybe one day acids will stop pouring
And through the clarity, I’ll see your face
Eyes dulled by resin, your head’s faint morphing
It is all I can do, granting you grace
.
The flash flood has carried you far away
Without response, softly you fall backward
Your mind sits dead and can’t lead you astray
Yet our past lies here, crooked and fractured
.
A pig was shot dead and fell with relief
I hallucinate you have done the same
No amount of trusting can ease my grief
I am screaming and bewailing your name
.
I’ll make you an altar with things you lost
No matter the price, no matter the cost
